Today...

is a day I have been dreading. The fact that I am facing this day already makes me ill and downright terrified...

You see, I lived 17 years and 14 days with my Mom.

Today I have lived 17 years and 15 days without her.


I can't help but feel robbed.

Delaney is nine.

I know, I know...

Here I am... in all my laziness. I wish I really could say that. It's overwhelming thinking about playing catch-up so here's the bulleted recap of my last month-or-so and then I'm starting fresh.

• Delaney's birthday party was fun! A rollerskating party with several of her friends and Nana and D-Daddy.
• End of school was hectic and sad for all 3 kids. They get very attached to their teachers and friends. Glad it's over, though. Now, we're moving on to 4th grade, 1st grade, and Pre-school 3 next year. Wow.
• I just have to throw this in there because I can't help but brag about my kids... Delaney scored outstandingly high on the iLEAP. Also, her Norm-Referenced Report says that she "scored higher than 96 percent of third grade students NATIONALLY"!!! Holy Moly.
• End of Delaney's softball season. This season sucked. Last year they placed 2nd overall - this year they won 2 games!!! Yikes.
• OH - we sold our house and moved into a new one!!! It's big and a definite fixer-upper. Talk about insanity... still. We're not even completely unpacked yet... but the decorating is kinda fun. We're going from a very traditional style to a more contemporary style... and could use some cousinly assistance (hint, hint;)
• Girl Scout Camp was fun!!! Now we're in the midst of VBS week.
• My friend, Tricia, had a baby girl - Tessa Juliette:) YAY!
• Ryan had a great 36th birthday building a fence:( ... now he is at the College World Series with his Dad, Marcus, and friends for 6 days having a blast!!
• Laura (my BFF since 4th grade) is coming Wednesday!!! CAN'T WAIT!!!
• We're all happy and healthy and enjoying the summer...

Those are the highlights, I guess. I promise to do better. I'll throw some pics at ya over the next few days once I get them uploaded and then I'll be totally caught up:)
